We held an exibition for Motorcycles, Scooters and Electric bikes at the Guide dogs for the blind 25th Anniversary celebation day in peoples Park Llanelli on 6th June. We could not have had a worse day as torrential rain spoiled the fun and the turn out was very poor.
We raised £100 towards the guide dogs and would like to thank everyone who donated to this very worthy cause. I would also like to thank the guide dogs for coming down the shop to have a photo. I wish you all the very best for the future with your fundraising and hope to be able to help you again. Congratulations are also sent out to the winner of the £100 voucher drawn by the guide dog organiser.
All money collected from the raffle will go to the guide dogs charity.
Money raised will be used to train dogs to act as guides for the visually impaired in as local an area as possible within South Wales. The guide dogs owner regains their mobility with the freedom and independance their dog brings. The guide dogs change lives beyond all recognition.
The Llanelli Duck Race
Our event in support of Llanelli Sea cadets on the 30th August at Penygaer Fields, Llanelli went a bit quackers with the weather again. Good old british summer time but hey the ducks didnt mind. Our duck stormed the race into top podium position. You can read more information regarding the event @ http://www.llanelliduckrace.co.uk/
The sea cadets provide children with something to do in the evenings and weekends but it also teaches discipline and respect for others. The sea cadets gives your chidren the opportunity to learn to sail, row, canoe, swim, seamanship, rifle shooting and much more so please come along to support this worthy cause.
Freshers fair University Of Wales (Swansea)
Our next event is at Swansea university on Wed 23rd & Thu 24th September. We will be exhibiting scooters & electric bikes as a green transport solution to enable students to travel to and from university as an alternative to a bus to give independance.
We look forward to meeting you all there to offer our expert and friendly advise on your needs.
Our event at Freshers fair went fantastic. 1st day of the year where we had no rain and a nice warm sunny day. We had set up the stall in time to have a coffee and take a moment to help us prepare for the thousands of eagerly awaiting students gathering outside the fair marquee. Think we both wondered initially how we would cope with the volume of people waiting to flood through the entrance at one point. A Special thanks to Frank Curren from Powabyke who came down to help promote the electric bikes. Your help was much appreciated.
If anyone would like to join our Electric bike discussion's on facebook please visit Powabyke or Ray Williams Motorcycles
